Russian Checkers
You can enjoy Russian Checkers in a variety of ways: against a computer, online with other players, or together on the same screen.
The game features several modes, including playing against a computer or connecting with friends online. When playing, checkers move diagonally forward, while kings can move diagonally in any direction. It's important to note that capturing an opponent's pieces is mandatory, and any pieces that are captured are removed from the board immediately after the turn. If a player has the opportunity to make multiple captures, they must continue capturing until no further moves are available.
When a king captures an opponent’s piece, it can land on any unoccupied square. Additionally, when a checker reaches the last row of the board, it is promoted to a king and is allowed to keep capturing. However, the Turkish strike rule applies, which means that if a captured piece blocks the path, the capture is halted. Players can also choose from different capture options when multiple are available, adding a strategic element to the game.
